Marco Silva has confirmed handed three youngsters from the academy the opportunity to train with the first team, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Anthony Gordon, Dennis Adeniran and Lewis Gibson have all linked up with the first team, with one of the former two likely to be named in the match-day squad against Watford with midfield options short.

All three starlets featured for David Unsworth’s Under-23s on Monday night as they began their season with a goalless stalemate against Leicester City Under-23s.
18-year-old Gordon was one of Unsworth’s key players during their Premier League 2 title victory last season, appearing for the young Toffees 14 times. The midfielder was then rewarded with a spot on the plane to Germany when Everton faced Werder Bremen during their pre-season campaign, but the attacking midfielder didn’t manage to make it off the bench.
Unsworth spoke after the Premier League 2 season opener and explained how it was important to give Gordon minutes after he spent time training with Silva’s squad. Unsworth said:
He’s in desperate need of a game. He’s not played as many games because he’s been training with the first-team.
What we need to do is get the ball to him in dangerous areas more often and he can show his quality.

Silva has always shown that there is a direct avenue for youngsters to progress into the first-team if they apply themselves well and continue their development away from his squad.
With the Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph injured, and with Morgan Schneiderlin suspended, Silva could potentially look to integrate Gordon or Adeniran into the first-team this weekend ahead of either of the duo potentially making their Premier League debut for the club.
At 18-years old, Gordon is clearly a talented and promising player and both Silva and Unsworth clearly rate him highly.
