Tosun expected to re-join Besiktas

Everton are expecting striker Cenk Tosun to re-join Besiktas in the January transfer window.

According to TalkSport, Tosun is set to sign for Besiktas again – just one year after leaving the Turkish side to sign for Everton.

Tosun has struggled for form this season at Everton, scoring twice in 12 appearances in all competitions.

He recently scored in Everton’s win over Crystal Palace, but has found himself on the bench with Richarlison starting up front.

The report claims that Marco Silva has already identified a replacement for Tosun, in the form of Godsway Donyoh.

The former Manchester City striker currently plays for FC Nordsjaelland, where he has scored seven goals in 11 games this season.

Donyoh failed to make a senior appearance for Manchester City, and could now find his Premier League chance with Everton if he makes the move in the next transfer window.
