Virals: Everton Ace Richarlison Makes History with Hattrick

Everton star Richarlison continued his goalscoring heroics in a Brazil shirt as he bagged a hattrick in Brazil’s Tokyo 2020 Olympics opener against Germany.

The versatile Everton star was one of three overaged players allowed to be called into the national team setup, with 38-year-old former Barcelona ace Dani Alves captaining the side.

Impressively, all three goal-bound strikes from the forward came in the first half of the game.

As per OptaJoe, Richarlison’s hat-trick for Brazil against Germany is the first ever scored by a Premier League player at the Olympic games in a history-making feat for the Toffees hitman.

The 24-year-old poached on his own rebounded shot following a clever break past German lies for his first goal, before a bullet header at the near post delivered a brace.

An impressive curled effort from just within the box completed a perfect hattrick for the ex-Watford prodigy.

An impressive all-action display from Richarlison is not to be scoffed at, and the history-making achievement renders him as a fine ambassador for the club.

Everton fans will be keenly hoping such scintillating scoring form is carried over into the reign of Rafa Benitez, who reportedly backed Richarlison to go to the Olympics and potentially miss the start of the season.
