Everton have reportedly ‘joined the race’ to sign Inter Milan central defender Stefan de Vrij.
The 29-year-old has been indexed to numerous clubs as the ace’s agents attempt to find a new home for his client.
Having recently been offered to newly mega-rich Newcastle United, the Toffees are believed to have shown their interest.
That’s according to a report from 90Min, as cited by RumorsTransfersNews24/7 on Twitter.
The report claims that the 54-cap Holland international has also attracted the attention of Tottenham.
So far this season De Vrij, who was described as a ‘top defender’ by Kees Kwakman, has scored once in 15 appearances in all competitions for I Nerazzurri.
