Olympiacos have decided against a £5 million transfer to sign Kevin Mirallas on a permanent basis.
Sport 24 report that the club’s board have opted against a move that would see the Belgian winger re-join the club on a permanent deal.
After falling out of favour at Goodison Park, Mirallas completed a loan move to his former side in January.
As part of the deal to take the player to Greece, Olympiacos had the option to sign the player for a fee believed to be around £5 million.

The 30-year-old has struggled to impress since re-joining his former side, scoring just once in the Super League in 10 appearances.
It is yet to be seen whether or not the player has a future at Goodison Park beyond this summer.
With a new manager likely to be appointed before the start of the new season, Mirallas could be one of the many players offloaded to fund further transfer business.
