According to Calciomercato, Belgian midfielder Alex Witsel has again rejected an offer from Everton.
The Merseyside team have seen a £12.5m bid rejected by Witsel as he seeks a move to a ‘bigger’ club.
It is understood that Witsel has already come to an agreement with Juventus to sign for them on a free transfer when his contract is up. Reportedly the Italian giants want Witsel in January and are prepared to pay £10m for him.
Although the Toffee’s bid is significantly higher Witsel would prefer a move to Italy and it is understood that if he has to wait until the summer to sign him, he will wait.
Juventus have to be quick though as they aren’t the only Champions league team that want the Belgian. Barcelona are also interested and may come in with a lucrative offer that neither Witsel nor Zenit could turn down.
