Former Everton striker Yakubu Ayegbeni believes that current Blues boy Richarlison has the potential to be one of the top scorers in the Premier League.
The £40million summer signing has scored eight times in the Premier League this season, playing as both a winger and makeshift striker for the Toffees.
The ex-Blue, who also starred for Middlesborough and Portsmouth in his career, believes that the Brazil international can become one of the Premier League’s top scorers if he continues improving.
Talking to Everton’s official website, Yakubu said:
Richarlison is smart and clever. I have watched him since he was at Watford. If he continues to do what he is doing, you will see the improvement.
He is going to be a top striker. I think he can be right up there in the goalscoring charts.
Everton are on a run of four game without a win in the Premier League, although Richarlison has netted twice in that time. The Toffees will hope he can continue his goalscoring run against Tottenham on Sunday.
