Everton’s forgotten man Yannick Bolasie has emerged as a transfer target for his former side Crystal Palace.
According to the London Evening Standard, the Eagles want to get a deal done before Thursday’s deadline.
However, Palace do not envisage signing the player as a direct replacement for Wilfried Zaha, who continues to be linked with moves to Chelsea and Tottenham.
Bolasie was a big-money signing for Everton from Palace, but he has failed to deliver at Goodison Park, with injuries getting the better of the tricky winger.
He has since fallen out of favour at Goodison Park and is not deemed to be part of Silva’s plans following the arrival of Richarlison.
Silva spent big to bring the Brazilian to Goodison Park from Watford, having worked with him previously at Vicarage Road.
Palace need to strengthen their options out wide after Bakary Sako left the club over the summer.
