Everton have made an offer to Montpellier for left-back Jerome Roussillon, according to Paris United, as reported by GFFN.

Marco Silva seems keen to address Everton’s defensive personnel this summer and with Leighton Baines coming towards the end of his career, it makes sense for the new manager to have his eye on a new left back.

According to the Paris United report, Leicester City have also made an offer for the 25-year-old but he is apparently keen to join a side who are playing in European competition this season.

Fenerbahce, Monaco, and Sevilla are all said to be interested in the former French youth international although they are yet to make any firm offer for him.

If one of those sides do come in for him, that might make it difficult for Everton to get him to Goodison Park, if his desire to play in Europe outweighs his desire to sign for the Toffees.
