Everton have not yet received any contact from Paris Saint-Germain over their reported interest in midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye.
Recent speculation has suggested that the Parisian giants had made an approach for the Senegal international, only for Everton to rebuff them with a €45million price tag.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, the French champions have not made contact yet, despite being interested in the 29-year old’s services.
The Echo also claim that the Toffees could be willing to sell Gana in the summer, with director of football Marcel Brands eyeing up a revamp of the squad’s midfield options.
Tanguy Ndombele, Abdoulaye Doucouré and Wilmar Barrios have all been linked to Goodison Park in recent weeks, while it is believed the clubs priority remains securing André Gomes on a long-term contract.
Gana’s contract with Everton runs until the summer of 2022.
