Everton predicted XI v Leeds (H)

Everton will look to make it two wins on the bounce as they host Leeds at Goodison Park this evening.

Marco Bielsa’s visitors will come up against a team in renewed spirits following the Toffees’ 3-2 victory against Fulham in their previous fixture. The league’s top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin bagged a brace to take his tally to 10 so far this season, whilst Abdoulaye Doucoure celebrated his first goal as a Toffees player.

Conversely, Leeds are in desperate search of a win, having been battered in 4-1 defeats against both Leicester and Crystal Palace in their previous three fixtures, whilst they could only manage a draw in a 0-0 stalemate against 10-man Arsenal.

However, all is far from rosy for Ancelotti’s side; it emerged on Thursday that key left-back Lucas Digne, who managed two assists from a pair of fine crosses against Fulham, is ruled out with injury. After suffering severe ankle ligament damage in a training session, Everton have since confirmed that Digne will need to undergo surgery – ruling him out for a long period of time.

Yerry Mina could also struggle to keep his place after a difficult outing against Fulham which led to criticism from many Toffees supporters.

Amid questions of both teams’ form and the injury blow for Digne, here’s the Read Everton predicted XI to take on the Whites at Goodison Park, with two changes anticipated from the team which started at Fulham
