Reported Everton transfer target Isco seems to be increasingly unsettled after Spanish publication Sport claimed that the Real Madrid man is ‘tired of being ostracised by [Real Madrid manager] Zinedine Zidane’.
Having weighed up his options ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, the player has decided he is unlikely to remain in the picture at the Bernabeu and will look to force a move in January.
In his search of regular game-time, the former Malaga star reportedly ‘feels the need’ to get a solid six months of regular football under his belt in order to remain in contention for Luis Enrique’s Spain squad ahead of Euro 2020.
Fede Valverde, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrygo Goes are all ahead of Isco in the Real Madrid pecking order, leaving little in the way of opportunities for the Spaniard to feature in the Los Blancos midfield or out on the wing.
That could prove to be the straw which breaks the camel’s back – opening the pathway for Carlo Ancelotti to reunite with the dynamo who served him so well during his own trophy-laden spell in the Spanish capital.

Isco has seemingly been on Everton’s radar for some time, and there is no smoke without fire in this case.
The 28-year-old could be available for a cut-price deal as the La Liga giants look to offload an unwanted player. Such a move would make sense for all parties involved and could materialise next month.
