Everton Predicted XI vs Manchester United (H)

Everton take on Premier League giants Manchester United in tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final clash, with both sides looking to add to their impressive runs of form.

The Toffees come into the match off the back of three successive wins, while the Red Devils have won six of their last seven domestic fixtures, with both teams now thrust into the mix of Champions League if not title contention.

Only goal difference separates the teams going into Christmas in the Premier League, with Everton and the Red Devils sitting fourth and third respectively.

The Carabao Cup represents a chance to ease off the pressures of league football and rotate the squad, though neither team will enter the fixture with an uncompetitive mindset. Both sides have an opportunity to lay down a marker as they look to compete for silverware.

Both Carlo Ancelotti and United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have one eye on a congested fixture schedule over the festive period as they look to minimise risk of injury to players and preserve fitness as vital league points remain up for grabs.

With rotation likely to be the dominant feature of both line-ups, here is the Read Everton predicted XI to face United. We anticipate five changes from the team which started Saturday’s win over Arsenal, with top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin among those to get a well-earned rest.
