Everton’s £31.5m defender opens up on how the club has become ‘a part of his life’

Some of Everton’s transfer business over the last few years has been very impressive.

One player, in particular, has really taken to the squad and the Premier League in the form of Lucas Digne.

The Frenchman joined the club from Barcelona in 2018 for a fee of just over £18million.

Since then he has made over 100 appearances for the Toffees, becoming a stalemate in the starting XI.

In a recent interview with the club, Digne has opened up about his time at Everton so far and their form this season.

The full-back stated how good he feels a the club and that they have no become ‘a part of his life’.

Not only that, but the Frenchman also stated that Everton still have hopes of getting European football this season…

It is always great to know when a player feels settled and comfortable at a club.

Yesterday, Everton midfielder Allan revealed how well he has settled into life at the club since his summer move.

Digne opened up about the clubs hopes of still getting European football this season.

He stated how himself and the squad receive messages from Blues fans about their desperations for Europe.

“Our fans are amazing.

“They are still sending a lot of messages, you can see how much they want Europe and it is the same for us.”

It is good to hear that Digne and the rest of the squad have the same ambitions as the fans.

For the club to get European football this season will provide a great platform for to build and grow.

Big things are happening at Goodison with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of it all.
