Everton are preparing an offer in the region of €20m for Atalanta right-back Raoul Bellanova, according to Italian journalist Luca Cerchione.
The Toffees have been strongly linked with Bellanova for weeks, with SportItalia’s Gianluigi Longari also naming Real Sociedad as suitors as the Italy international’s Bergamo future looks increasingly in doubt. Atalanta value the 26-year-old at around €20m, a fee that matches what they paid Torino for him back in 2024.
David Moyes has made right-back a priority this summer following Seamus Coleman’s departure, with Jake O’Brien having filled in there out of necessity for much of last season. Bellanova, primarily a wing-back by trade, offers an attacking profile Moyes has been missing in that position, though his defensive numbers dipped during an injury-hit campaign in 2025-26.
Should Bellanova leave Bergamo, Atalanta are expected to move for Nottingham Forest’s Nicolò Savona as his replacement. Cerchione has stated the Italy Under-21 international would step in directly if a deal for Bellanova goes through, with Savona having already given his willingness to return to Serie A.
Everton face competition from elsewhere in the Premier League too, with Fulham and Tottenham also credited with an interest in Bellanova this summer.
