Everton began the league season by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 before drawing with Bournemouth, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Barry’s first-half goal then gave Moyes’ side a 1-0 victory over Ipswich at the Hill Dickinson, extending their unbeaten Premier League start to five matches.

Everton have also won both of their Carabao Cup ties without conceding, beating Preston North End 4-0 and Wolves 1-0. Newcastle United will visit the Hill Dickinson in the fourth round on 29 October.
