I’m not looking forward to this one. The manager is a dead man walking and the squad are on borrowed time. Burnley have had decent away performances this season and we’ve been shocking wherever we’ve played. Koeman has once again said that there’ll be no changes as he persists with his little favourites and his […]
Something has to give and unfortunately it’s Ronald Koeman. The man has lost the fans and lost his mind. He expects different results from his same broken system and his same broken players. He has sent about £100m down the drain on players who have no right to be near that team and is still […]
It was a rollercoaster of emotions on Saturday, as the starting XI slumped to the same-old same-old, and the fans were once again (and rightly so) on the back of the team and the manager. Koeman made changes and the three subs that came on changed the game entirely as we switched to a different […]
There’s not too much I can say on that game, to be frank, at least the last 20 minutes of it. So instead, I’ll criticise the hell out of the other 75 minutes because it was absolute garbage! Ronald Koeman’s system has failed, there’s no doubt about that anymore. The game went by as all of […]
Finally back to winning ways at Goodison Park after what seems like a lifetime. We started in the same way as we finished against Manchester United, unfortunately, and it took some time for us to grow into the game but once we did we looked positive and exciting once again. There were some standout performers that […]
Something happened that we thought we’d never see again. It’s been a long time coming, but finally, after much turmoil… Everton won. We started the game slowly, as if United had never left town. We looked shaky in possession and were scared to get forward. Thankfully, we overcame that within the first 20 minutes and […]
Enough is enough, and after a season of mediocrity followed by an early start of absolute drivel, Ronald Koeman is walking the plank, if he’s not past the point of no return already. He needs to throw out everything and admit that his system is a calamitous error. A better display against Manchester United barely […]
It’s all well and good showing up and putting some effort in, but when United score in the first 4 minutes and you fail to respond for the next 86 minutes, it’s no better than losing 3-0 in Italy or 3-0 at Goodison. It’s still nowhere near good enough. Our heads went down as soon […]
This week has produced a deluge of sour emotions emanating from an ever rising, up-in-arms blue tide. As an eternally-unfortunate soul, I’ll preach to a few of the mob about who I’d put out at Old Trafford. However a performance akin to Atalanta and that Everton side is facing a last stand. As Koeman marches […]
I’m not going to go through minute-by minute on what took place tonight, I’ll just address Koeman’s failings for the most part then give some quick ratings because I don’t think anyone wants to hear it and I most definitely do not fancying writing about it. But mainly, this is to address what is the most […]
The Europa League group stage is back. We strode our way to this stage as we bypassed MFK Ružomberok and Hajduk Split with relative ease, bar a Split wonder goal in Croatia. So our Europa League efforts are in stark contrast with our Premier League season, which has started woefully. But Thursday night is a […]
Most of our worst fears were confounded in a sorry display against a lump Spurs side. They haven’t had a great start thus far but turned up to Goodison like they owned the place. And fair enough, we certainly don’t own it. We looked like strangers. Koeman stuck with a broken system and shoehorned players […]
