I’m not looking forward to this one. The manager is a dead man walking and the squad are on borrowed time.
Burnley have had decent away performances this season and we’ve been shocking wherever we’ve played. Koeman has once again said that there’ll be no changes as he persists with his little favourites and his obsolete system.
And this season isn’t half going to drag on with a naive manager putting out the same lethargic, frustrating side every week.
I’m not going to apologise for being negative either. There’s absolutely nothing to be positive about besides Oumar Niasse who isn’t one of Koeman’s signings, so no, he won’t be starting at the weekend. We’re practically out of Europe after two games and we’ll be lucky to finish 7th.
So let’s see what Mr Tactics has in store for us this weekend as we come up against one of the most frustrating sides in the league.
I’ll give it half an hour before the boos start ringing out.
If that.
