Burnley v Everton – Alex’s XI

Merry Christmas to you unfortunate lot. Actually, that sounds a little too ‘present tense’ because as we all know, Christmas is well and truly over now that Everton are back. The fun times have stopped and we are ready to be properly let down once again.

This time, it’s away to Burnley. The most glamorous fixture that Premier League football has to offer. We’re in a disgusting run of form and we don’t play a top 6 team until February and, as is tradition, we will continue to endure our awful form throughout this run and fail to pick up points in the games where we should (See: West Ham, Huddersfield, Watford, Newcastle at Home).

Anyway, all that doom and gloom isn’t in much of the Christmas cheer, so I’ll end it on this:

2017 was hot trash in terms of the Royal Blues, but the horizon is much, much brighter under Mr Silva.

And I’ll still be here, with you all the way.

matchday.
