Everton 2026 summer transfer tracker: Every deal, live

Updated at 11:30am BST 13/07/2026.

Everton summer business under David Moyes and TFG, updated as the window develops. Here’s every confirmed signing, advanced deal, live target and departure in one place.

✅ Confirmed signings

Hayden Hackney — Middlesbrough, midfielder. Signed for an initial £16.5m rising to around £25m with add-ons. The reigning Championship Player of the Season arrives as a progressive, deep-lying midfielder rather than a direct like-for-like replacement for Idrissa Gueye.

Tyrique George — Chelsea, winger. Loan made permanent for a fee in excess of £20m, giving Moyes a player he already knew well from George’s spell on Merseyside last season.

Merlin Rohl’s loan made permanent — Confirmed alongside the Hackney and George business, adding a further central midfield option once fit.

Arthur Barratt — Chelsea academy, midfielder. 16-year-old signed on a permanent deal from Cobham, seen as a long-term development prospect rather than an immediate first-team addition.

🔴 Confirmed departures

Idrissa Gana Gueye — Contract expired 30 June, ending his second spell at the club. No new deal was agreed despite public calls for one.

Seamus Coleman — Released after 17 years at the club. Sheffield United have made moves over a possible move to Bramall Lane, though reports on whether he is actually training with the club conflict. Nothing is close, and Coleman has not decided whether to keep playing or move into coaching.

Reece Welch — Released on the expiry of his contract; reported to be trialling with Danish side Lyngby.

🔵 Live targets — incoming

Jack Grealish (Manchester City, winger, permanent/loan) — Everton reportedly only willing to pay £5m-£10m for a permanent deal, well short of City’s £50m option-to-buy figure. City remain open to selling under Enzo Maresca; Grealish has continued his rehabilitation at Finch Farm.

Christian Kofane (Bayer Leverkusen, forward) — Formal offer tabled, with positive talks between the club and his agent at Finch Farm. Bournemouth also monitoring, though their interest is tangled up with their own need to sell Junior Kroupi first.

Douglas Luiz (Juventus, midfielder) — Linked after Italian reports of a Premier League enquiry to Juventus over his availability. Everton not named directly, but consistently linked as Moyes looks to strengthen his midfield.

Jacob Murphy (Newcastle, winger) — Genuine interest registered, per Sky Sports. No formal offer yet, with the 31-year-old having a year left on his Newcastle contract.

Roony Bardghji (Barcelona, winger) — Everton alerted alongside Leeds United and Aston Villa as Barcelona prepare to sell. Leeds understood to be the strongest pursuers at this stage.

Cesare Casadei (Torino, midfielder) — Long-running interest, with Torino valuing the 23-year-old at around €30m and showing no intention of budging. Real Betis and Brighton also in the picture.

Djed Spence (Tottenham, right-back) — Everton reportedly prepared to pay £25m, with Spurs said to be open to a sale.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (West Ham, right-back) — Considered alongside Spence, with his valuation reduced following West Ham’s relegation.

Sam Johnstone (goalkeeper) — Under consideration as goalkeeping depth, contingent on Mark Travers leaving Merseyside.

🔵 Live targets — outgoing

Tim Iroegbunam (midfielder) — Bundesliga interest from Dortmund and Stuttgart reported. Everton have so far resisted approaches; his exit would leave a gap at the base of midfield.

Iliman Ndiaye (forward) — Manchester City interest reported, with a fee of up to £69m mentioned. Contract talks have stalled amid the speculation.

Mark Travers (goalkeeper) — Coventry and Wrexham both credited with interest. His departure would open the door for a Sam Johnstone arrival.

🟡 Contract situations

Thierno Barry — Everton’s position clarified amid continued RB Leipzig interest. The club see Leipzig’s approach as validation of their recruitment rather than a reason to sell cheaply, though a big enough offer would still be considered.
