Everton among Premier League clubs monitoring Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré

Everton are among four Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Atalanta forward El Bilal Touré, according to journalist Sean Lunt.

Lunt reports that Aston Villa, Fulham and Newcastle United are also interested in the Mali international, with Everton’s admiration for the striker dating back several years, before his move to the Serie A side.

Touré joined Atalanta from Almeria in 2023 but has endured an injury-disrupted spell in Italy. Despite that, the 24-year-old remains highly regarded across Europe and continues to attract interest from clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer.

For Everton, the link is particularly notable given the club’s long-standing interest in the player. The Blues were credited with monitoring Touré during his emergence in Spain, where his pace, physicality and ability to operate across the front line made him one of the continent’s most promising young forwards.

David Moyes is expected to add attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes, with Everton linked to a number of strikers in recent weeks.

Earlier on Friday, reports suggested PSV Eindhoven’s stance on Ricardo Pepi could be softening following the FIFA World Cup, potentially creating another opportunity for Everton in the market.

Whether Everton’s interest in Touré develops into a formal approach remains to be seen, but the latest update suggests the club continue to assess a range of options as they look to bolster their forward line ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
