Everton make enquiry for £40m Premier League midfielder alongside Tottenham and West Ham

The summer transfer window is fast approaching with Everton set for a busy few months.

Plenty of rumours have already surfaced with Fabrizio Romano dropping some news this week already.

The Italian revealed how Everton will be on the search for a new centre-back ahead of next season.

He did also reveal that one of those targets was not Juventus defender Merih Demiral despite reports.

However, recent reports from The Express have suggested that the Toffees have enquired about Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Malian midfielder has immensely impressed for the south coats club and has attracted some big interest.

Fellow Premier League clubs West Ham and Tottenham have enquired over Bissouma, as well as Arsenal and Man City having strong interest.

The Express cites City being interested in West Ham’s Declan Rice too, but the £40million evaluation for Bissouma is more realistic.

This is due to West Ham’s demands of £100million for Rice this summer.

If Everton’s interest is concrete then they will need to act fast to secure his siganture.

The prospect of playing for City in the Champions League is extremely hard to turn down for any player.

However, Everton are gunning for European football this season and the future plans under Ancelotti could turn his head.

The Toffees are growing and the project is expanding.

It could be a real head turner and hopefully, Bissouma will be up for the challenge.
