Al Hilal have opened talks over a move for an Everton attacker this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Saudi Pro League club are said to be targeting Iliman Ndiaye as they look to add a second marquee attacking signing after completing a deal for Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.
Romano reports that negotiations remain at an early stage, but that Ndiaye is high on Al Hilal’s shortlist.
Ndiaye’s representatives are understood to be open to initial discussions, though any move depends on Everton’s position. The 26-year-old has three years left on his contract at Hill Dickinson Stadium, and David Moyes will be reluctant to sanction a sale of one of his most productive players.
The Senegal international scored six goals and added three assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season, establishing himself as one of Everton’s key attacking outlets since joining from Marseille in 2024.
Interest from Saudi Arabia comes shortly after Ndiaye spoke publicly about his ambition to play Champions League football, comments that will have done little to calm speculation over his long-term future on Merseyside.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri has since added that Ndiaye is viewed as an alternative option at Al Hilal should the club fail to land Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé, their primary attacking target this window.
Everton are reported to value Iliman Ndiaye at around £69m, a figure well above what Al Hilal paid for Summerville, and one that would represent a significant test of the Saudi club’s resolve if talks progress.
