Everton are back in the running for Inter Milan’s Xherdan Shaqiri, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Swiss wideman only joined the Italian giants in January, but Roberto Mancini has deemed him surplus to requirements.
The former Bayern man was set for a move back to the Bundesliga with Schalke, but the move seems to have fallen through and Everton are reportedly ready to take the advantage of the situation.
Shaqiri has been the subject of interest from fellow Premier League club Stoke City, but the 23-year-old wasn’t interested in a move to the Britannia.
Everton hope that the winger changes his mind over a move to England, but Roberto Martinez would have to pay around £12million for a deal to be agreed.
Inter took him on loan from Bayern Munich in January but had the mandatory agreement to pay €16million at the end of his loan spell.
The former Basel man could be a replacement for Kevin Mirallas, who has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
