Everton tracking Lille starlet Martin Terrier

Signing promising young players has always been something Everton have looked to do and that;s become even more paramount under Ronald Koeman.

After signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer and handing him a chance in the first-team, Koeman also welcomed Charlton teenage Ademola Lookman to the club but he’s got his eyes on another young striker.

According to French source L’Equipe, Lille’s talented forward Martin Terrier has been scouted by Everton this season, along with fellow Premier League outfit West Ham and Serie A side Fiorentina.

The 19-year-old attacker signed his first professional contract back in the summer and made his debut for the Ligue 1 during a 2-1 win over Bastia back in October. Terrier has made eight appearances for Lille this season and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win over AS Excelsior last week.

Able to play either on the winger or as a central striker, Terrier is one of the best young prospects in French football currently and would be a great addition to a Toffees squad which already possesses a lot of young talent.
