It doesn’t feel like the City game actually happened, does it? Don’t know. Feels a bit like we’ve been gone forever again. Probably just me.
On to Burnley now, and Turf Moor, a ground we haven’t visited for 2 years, and that last time we had Sammy Eto’o up front rolling back the years as he pursued his hat-trick. Odd sentence that.
We’re all changed since then. New manager, new players, and new expectations. However, one expectation that remains the same from last time we played Burnley, is that we should beat them. Comfortably.
We’re coming off an iffy run as of late, with no win in 4 but a great draw against City – with all praise be to Maarten Stekelenburg – and we look better off after the international break.
So, let’s take a look at who I think should start, and my Key Man for the week…
