Everton v Huddersfield Town – My Everton XI

Everton v Huddersfield Town – My Everton XI

No more negativity until Saturday night. Up the Ev.

Allardyce is in charge and he’s been speaking well since his arrival. Now, I’ve made no secret of the fact that I don’t really want Allardyce, but there is always an inherent excitement that comes with welcoming a new manager to the club, and I’m looking forward to the game and let’s hope we get a result. The fans need the lift, and if you’ve been reading through my recent musings, you’ll know I need a lift.

I, like most of us, want to see us win games more than anything. I couldn’t care less how we do it, because as soon as the game is done and I’m back home having tea, I either think ‘Get in, three points today’ or ‘ ‘sake Everton, awful again’.

There’s no thinking about how nice we played, whether Everton get three, one or no points makes or breaks a weekend for everyone.

It controls our life, whether we like it or not, and Sam Allardyce controls the club, so let’s get behind him and the team and let’s see what we can do this season.
