Everton v West Ham United – Alex’s XI

I imagine this will be Mr Silva’s final game in charge of Everton Football Club, and if not it is most certainly his final few weeks. I simply cannot see him turning this around against better sides than we have previously come up against, especially without the personnel to do so or the guts to change his system.

A manager so steeped in cowardice is not a manager I have faith in to develop the character to right the direction of the club at the moment, as Mr Silva is very much a ‘right man, wrong time’ manager. If he was brought in to lead the club once it has been torn up and rebuilt, I believe he would’ve gone on to be very successful at the club, however Everton Football Club is in such a shocking place right now that his one-dimensional way of managing the team is simply inadequate.

Another season has been lost, but we have a chance to bring in a manager to assess the team until next season and then we can begin again.

And as a few of you may know, I despise West Ham, so resigning myself to defeat against a team like that is painful. Here are the players who will break my heart.

matchday.
