Five strikers Everton could sign in January

Richarlison scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season against Newcastle on Wednesday, however despite this, Everton are still struggling to get their forwards scoring.

Both Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin haven’t scored in the league since the Blues faced Crystal Palace in late October, while Oumar Niasse remains completely frozen out of Marco Silva’s squad.

While Richarlison has deputised well in Tosun’s poor form based absence, Everton’s lack of a 20-goal-a-season striker limits them from pushing beyond the glass ceiling of the top four.

Currently in sixth place in the Premier League, Silva will look to sign a proven forward in January who can hopefully help Everton maintain their position.
