Kevin Mirallas looks to have finally put his time as an Everton player behind him, with his departure seemingly imminent.
The Belgian winger has been linked with a move back to Belgium for the past week, with speculation linking him Antwerp intensifying overnight after he was seen spectating at the club’s Europa League qualifier on Thursday.
The 31-year old has been somewhat of a pariah at Everton over the previous few seasons, and despite him having featured for Marco Silva’s side in pre-season, it never looked likely that Mirallas would win his place in the team back.
Now a picture has leaked on Twitter of Mirallas at Antwerps stadium holding their new season jersey aloft, which would seem to suggest that a move is close to being made official.
According to Belgian football expert and journalist Kristof Terreur, the move will be a permanent transfer, where Mirallas will sign a one-year deal with Antwerp.
Several Everton fans have responded on social media to the leaked image in a number of different ways.

A short verdict from me – job well done Marcel Brands, and while I’m no longer Mirallas’ biggest fan, I don’t wish him any ill will. Hopefully he does well.
