Virals: Yerry Mina returns to ‘light training’ ahead of EPL return

Everton centre-back Yerry Mina has reportedly returned to light training at Finch Farm ahead of a possible comeback following the international break.

The 27-year-old hasn’t featured for the Toffees since the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at the start of October and has been a big miss at the heart of the defence.

Now according to the popular Twitter account The Bobble, Mina is on the road to a return to action.

Rafa Benitez’s side managed to put a stop to the rot prior to the break with a goalless draw against Tottenham at Goodison Park.

Mina had been an imposing figure at the back for the Toffees this season – earning an impressive 6.90 Sofascore rating from six Premier League outings.

This will come as a huge boost to the Blues, especially following Mason Holgate’s late dismissal against Spurs.

Often one to polarise opinion amongst the fanbase, the £18million valued Columbian has proven to be a big miss in recent weeks.

Returning to face Manchester City is no easy task but Everton’s chances will be far greater with a full-strength defence in situ.
