Virals: Two ex-Everton managers will take charge in El Classico next season

Everton are currently going through the task of finding a new manager ahead of next season.

Carlo Ancelotti left the club on Tuesday to take charge of Spanish giants Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane.

The Italian has initially quashed rumours linking him to the job, labelling it ‘good publicity’.

However, the club announced his departure on Twitter on Tuesday evening.

Despite the obvious frustration from Evertonians about Ancelotti’s departure, the fans and club have to move on.

One way of doing this is by trying to look lightly about the situation, and a tweet from ESPN has done just that.

The sports media outlet highlighted the fact that two ex-Everton managers are now in charge of Real Madrid and Barcelona…

If there is one thing to take from the tweet, it is that Everton have a fantastic taste in managers.

All jokes aside, I think this is actually a positive for the club given the ambition they have to improve.

Whoever the next manager actually is, they have some real hype to have to live up too.

Both Ancelotti and Ronald Koeman may not have had the most incredible impact at Everton, but they are both great managers.

Next season will see two ex-Everton managers take charge in El Classico, which will be a spectacle in itself.

The Toffees have already started their search for a new manager, with Nuno Espirito Santo mooted.

Both Rafa Benitez and Steven Gerrard had also been rumoured, but present unrealistic options given their Liverpool connection.

There is no doubt that the club will find a good replacement for Ancelotti.

One possible could be former Chelsea and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri, which would be a great appointment.
