Davy Klaassen’s move from Everton to Napoli could be off

Napoli’s move for Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen could be off, according to  Sky Sports.

The Italian club have been trying to sort a loan deal for the player but it now seems that the move could fall through.

The reason believed to be why is because Napoli didn’t realize that Klaassen would be cup tied for any potential games in the Europa League.

They are now set to focus their minds on other targets who would be available in Europe with Klaassen set to stay at Goodison.

Everton had always maintained that he deal between the two clubswas never close and despite what the Italians had said.

It’s been a tough first season for Klaassen, who has featured just 13 times for the Blues, which is really disappointing following the expectation after his arrival at the club in the summer.
