Everton complete pre-season schedule with LOSC Lille clash

Everton have completed their pre-season schedule after confirming a home friendly against LOSC Lille on Saturday, 15 August, while a trip to face Hamburger SV has also been added to David Moyes’ summer plans.

The Lille fixture, which will take place at the Hill Dickinson with a 3pm kick-off, is set to be the Blues’ final outing before the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The announcement rounds off a busy summer programme that will see Everton face opponents from England, Scotland, Germany and France as preparations continue for the club’s second campaign in their new home.

Alongside the newly-confirmed meeting with Lille, Hamburger SV announced yesterday that they will host Everton at the Volksparkstadion on Saturday, 1 August.

This fixture forms part of a double-header involving Everton’s men’s and women’s teams, with Everton Women scheduled to face HSV Frauen earlier on the same day.

Moyes’ preparations taking shape

With the fixture list now complete, Moyes has a clear schedule to work from as he prepares his squad for the challenges of the new season.

Everton will begin pre-season with a trip to Dundee before further matches against Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City. The Blues will then travel to Germany for meetings with Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart before taking on Newcastle United at Murrayfield.

The final warm-up match against Lille will provide supporters with an opportunity to see the team at the Hill Dickinson before competitive action gets underway.
