Juventus are monitoring Djibril Sidibe’s situation at Everton, according to CalcioMercato, and several Everton fans have thoughts on the situation.
The Frenchman joined the Blues on a season-long loan in the summer, with Everton possessing a permanent option in his contract, said to be set at around £12.9million.
Despite starting the season behind Seamus Coleman, the 27-year old has slowly but surely replaced the Irishman as first choice right-back, starting 15 times in the Premier League.
Despite Football Insider reporting earlier this month that Carlo Ancelotti has given Everton the green light to sign Sidibe on a permanent basis, CalcioMercato report that Juventus have emerged as another option for the defender.
CalcioMercato claim that with Danilo having failed to impress the Bianconeri this season, Maurizio Sarri’s side are in the market for a new right-back, with the World Cup winner having caught their eye.
Reacting to this story on social media though, many Everton fans have been left dubious, with a number believing this could be the result of Sidibe’s agent looking to press Everton into making him an offer.
