Everton fans at Hull: What Blues need to know before visiting the MKM Stadium

Everton supporters make the trip to Hull today as David Moyes’ side return to Premier League action at the MKM Stadium.

For Blues who have never been to the ground before, here’s what you need to know about the away end, getting there, parking and where to go before the game.

Where is the Everton away end at the MKM Stadium?

Away supporters are housed in the North Stand. Fans walking from Hull city centre will generally approach the stadium from the Anlaby Road side. The away entrances are on the other side of the ground, so give yourself enough time to get around the stadium rather than leaving it until the last few minutes.

The MKM Stadium is cashless, with card and contactless payments used for food and drink.

How far is the MKM Stadium from Hull station?

Hull Paragon Interchange is the nearest railway station. It is roughly a 20-minute walk to the stadium, making the train a decent option for Evertonians travelling across from Merseyside. Supporters arriving early can stay around the city centre before heading to the ground, where the choice of pubs and places to eat becomes more limited.

For anyone still sorting the rest of their matchday plans, our Hull City v Everton TV and kick-off guide has the main fixture details.

Where can Everton fans park?

Matchday parking is available at the Walton Street car park, opposite the stadium. Parking currently costs £6 per vehicle, with payment by card or contactless. The postcode is HU3 6GA. St Stephen’s Shopping Centre, close to Hull Paragon Interchange, is another option if you are happy to walk to the ground.

Walton Street is likely to be busy when thousands of supporters leave at the same time after the final whistle, so it is worth bearing that in mind if you have a tight journey home.

Food and drink before Hull v Everton

There are plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants around Hull city centre. For supporters arriving by train, staying in the centre for a while before walking to the stadium is probably the simplest option. Food, soft drinks and alcohol are also available inside the away section.

Hull provide official away-supporter information, which is worth checking before setting off in case there are any late changes to access, parking or stadium arrangements.

Once inside, attention turns to the football. Our Hull City v Everton preview covers the latest team news and the main talking points, with Everton looking to protect their unbeaten Premier League start.
