  • Everton reject rival interest as Ndiaye commits to the TFG’s ambitious project.
  • No longer a selling club, the Toffees aim to reward their star winger.
  • Happy and hungry for trophies, Ndiaye looks toward a bright Blue future.

Iliman Ndiaye and his future at Everton has become a talking point again. Reports have linked the Senegal international with Liverpool and Manchester United, with a suggested £65m price tag placed on the winger. But the 25-year-old has already made his position clear, and The Friedkin Group have no intention of selling.

Everton are no longer a club that needs to sell their best players to balance the books. Under the new ownership, the Toffees are looking upwards. European qualification is within reach, and with that comes the ability to retain and reward their star performers.

Iliman Ndiaye: ‘I am really happy’

Back in January, Iliman Ndiaye addressed the speculation in an interview. His words left little room for interpretation.

“I was always very keen to stay here and be part of this new chapter for Everton,” Ndiaye stated. “As I always say, if there are rumours or interest and things like that, it must mean you’re doing something right, right?!

“I am really happy to be at this club and be part of a new project with the new stadium, new ownership. It feels like a new adventure for all of us.”

The winger’s ambitions extend beyond simply staying at Everton. He wants to be part of something significant.

“I want to achieve things with Everton, I want to win trophies, which the Club hasn’t seen for too long, and things like that. It’s an aim for us to work towards.”

Everton might offer a new deal to Iliman Ndiaye

The Friedkin Group have already demonstrated their commitment to securing the club’s best talent. Jordan Pickford signed a new contract in recent weeks, and James Garner has also penned a deal until 2029. Iliman Ndiaye is next on the list.

Everton are open to offering the winger a bumper new contract, which could extend his current deal beyond 2029. The club are in a much more positive financial position than in recent years, and rewarding Ndiaye for his contributions makes perfect sense.

Since David Moyes returned to the club, Ndiaye has scored 12 goals and established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet. His ability to operate on either flank, combined with his work rate and defensive discipline, makes him invaluable to the manager’s system.

The interest from Liverpool and Manchester United is understandable. Ndiaye has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers this season, starting 25 of his league appearances and contributing six goals and three assists. But Everton are in a position to reject advances in the same fashion they did with Jarrad Branthwaite.

Iliman Ndiaye wants to stay. He wants to win. And with European football potentially on the horizon, there is every reason to believe he can achieve both at Hill Dickinson Stadium. A new deal would end the speculation and confirm what the player himself has already said: his future is at Everton.
