Raul Jimenez eager to make Premier League move

Everton aren’t exactly blessed with striking options in their squad at the moment.

Having replaced Romelu Lukaku with Sandro Ramirez earlier in the window, Ronald Koeman still wants another striker in his squad and has been linked with a move for Benfica star Raul Jimenez. Use these best free bets if you want back the deal going through.

The Liverpool Echo report that Everton would need to pay up to £45m if they wish to land the Mexican attacker this summer, which seems an excessive fee for a striker that has only scored 24 goals in 80 appearances for Benfica since arriving from Atletico Madrid two years ago.

West Ham are also reportedly interested in the 26-year-old striker and Portuguese news outlet Record claim that Jimenez is interested in a move to the Premier League this summer, fueling links with Everton.

Everton remain one of the Premier League’s biggest spenders but it would be hard to see the club sanction yet another big-money move for a striker of Jimenez’s calibre.
