Marco Silva believes Saturday’s defeat to his former side Watford is cause for concern, he revealed after the game.

The Toffees did hit the woodwork twice in the second half and applied a surge of late pressure, but their efforts came to no avail to the frustration of Silva.
It was a tough match and a balanced match. We created more than enough chances to score a goal. [Three defeats] is a concern to me as a manager. You work always work to win the match. There is more ambition to change the match but the moment is not good.
Everton captain Tom Davies echoed his manager’s thoughts following the game, revealing the Toffees “underperformed” despite creating a number of chances to take something from the game.
We dug in again. We’re not happy and we have to look back on this match to see what we need to change. We underperformed again today – we had enough chances.
