Everton 2026 summer transfer tracker: Every deal, live

Updated at 17:02pm BST 14/07/2026.

The biggest development on Tuesday saw Brooke Norton-Cuffy re-emerge as a genuine option for Everton.

The Genoa right-back is reportedly available for around £17m, with the 22-year-old understood to be open to returning to the Premier League. His name has moved back into contention as Moyes continues his search for a natural right-back.

Elsewhere, interest in Jacob Murphy remains active despite no formal offer being made, while the long-running situation surrounding Jack Grealish continues to develop as Everton weigh up whether a deal can be made financially viable.

✅ Confirmed arrivals

Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough)

Everton completed the signing of Hackney for an initial £16.5million, with the deal potentially rising to around £25million through performance-related add-ons.

The reigning Championship Player of the Season arrives as one of England’s brightest young midfielders and is expected to bring composure, progression and creativity from deep rather than acting as a direct replacement for Idrissa Gueye.

Tyrique George (Chelsea)

George’s loan spell has been converted into a permanent transfer worth more than £20m.

Having already spent time working under Moyes, the winger arrives with valuable Premier League experience despite his age and is expected to provide greater competition in the wide areas.

Merlin Röhl

Everton also exercised their option to sign Röhl permanently following an encouraging loan spell.

Injuries limited his impact at times, but the club remain convinced by his long-term potential and see him as an important midfield option heading into the new campaign.

Arthur Barratt (Chelsea)

The 16-year-old midfielder has joined from Chelsea’s academy.

Barratt is viewed as one for the future rather than an immediate first-team option and is expected to continue his development within Everton’s academy system.

❌ Confirmed departures

Idrissa Gueye

Gueye’s second spell at Everton came to an end when his contract expired on 30 June.

Despite calls from supporters for a new deal, the club opted to move in a different direction as Moyes reshaped his midfield.

Seamus Coleman

Everton’s long-serving captain left the club after 17 years of outstanding service.

Sheffield United have been linked with a move, although no agreement has been reached and Coleman is yet to decide whether to continue playing or move into coaching.

Reece Welch

The academy graduate departed following the expiry of his contract and has since been linked with a move to Danish side Lyngby.

🔵 Live transfer targets

Brooke Norton-Cuffy (Genoa) ⭐ NEW

Position: Right-back

Status: Interest revived

The England Under-21 international has re-emerged as a serious option for Everton.

Reports suggest Genoa would consider offers in the region of £17million, while the defender is believed to be open to returning to England after an encouraging first season in Serie A.

With Ashley Young having departed and Moyes keen to recruit a specialist right-back, Norton-Cuffy appears to fit the profile Everton are targeting.

Jack Grealish (Manchester City)

Position: Winger

Status: Ongoing

Everton’s interest has never completely disappeared.

Any move is likely to depend on the financial structure of the deal, with the Blues reluctant to meet Manchester City’s valuation outright.

The situation remains one of the biggest stories of Everton’s summer.

Christian Kofane (Bayer Leverkusen)

Position: Forward

Status: Negotiations continue

Everton are understood to have made a formal approach, with positive discussions held between the club and the player’s representatives.

Competition remains, with Bournemouth continuing to monitor developments.

Jacob Murphy (Newcastle United)

Position: Winger

Status: Genuine interest

Murphy remains under consideration as Moyes weighs up adding another experienced Premier League attacker.

No formal bid has been submitted, although Everton’s admiration for the 31-year-old is well established.

Douglas Luiz (Juventus)

Position: Midfielder

Status: Monitoring

Italian reports continue to link Everton with the former Aston Villa midfielder.

While nothing appears advanced, Luiz’s experience and Premier League pedigree make him an understandable option.

Roony Bardghji (Barcelona)

Position: Winger

Status: Monitoring

Barcelona are expected to sanction a sale this summer.

Everton are among the clubs credited with an interest, although Leeds United currently appear to be leading the race.

Cesare Casadei (Torino)

Position: Midfielder

Status: Long-term interest

Torino continue to value Casadei at around €30million, making a deal difficult despite Everton’s admiration.

Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur)

Position: Right-back

Status: Option

Everton remain interested in strengthening at right-back, with Spence continuing to feature among the club’s reported targets.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (West Ham United)

Position: Right-back

Status: Alternative option

Wan-Bissaka has also been linked as Moyes assesses several options to strengthen his defence.

Sam Johnstone

Position: Goalkeeper

Status: Dependent on departures

Johnstone is viewed as a possible replacement should Mark Travers leave before the transfer window closes.

🔴 Players linked with exits

Tim Iroegbunam

Bundesliga interest from Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart has been reported, although Everton have so far shown little desire to sell.

Iliman Ndiaye

Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the Senegal international.

Everton remain keen to keep one of their most influential attacking players despite speculation surrounding his future.

Mark Travers

Coventry City and Wrexham continue to monitor the goalkeeper’s situation.

A departure would almost certainly prompt Everton to recruit another experienced backup.

📝 Contract watch

Thierno Barry

RB Leipzig remain interested after Everton moved quickly to sign the striker.

The club see the attention as further proof they secured one of Europe’s brightest young forwards, but would only consider a sale if an exceptional offer arrived.

What next?

Much of Everton’s early business focused on strengthening the core of the squad.

The next stage of Moyes’ rebuild appears centred on adding quality in the wide areas, finding a natural right-back and increasing the team’s attacking threat.

The emergence of Brooke Norton-Cuffy as a leading defensive target suggests recruitment is entering another important phase, while the situations involving Jack Grealish and Jacob Murphy remain among the key stories to watch as the window progresses.
