A deal to bring Aaron Lennon back to Goodison Park is close, according to Mike Keegan from Mail Sport.
The fee is though to be in the region of £5m after Spurs conceded defeat and lowered their asking price. Fans seem keen to have the Englishman back due to his impressive performances after coming in on loan from January saw an upturn in Everton’s form.
The concern that many fans have is where does that leave the likes of Kevin Mirallas and Gerard Deulofeu? Neither can get into the team currently with Cleverley and Kone being preferred on the wings, while Pienaar and McGeady are also still in the fray. Is there room for Lennon?
However, some reports explain that Aiden McGeady could be on his way out of the club. McGeady has attracted the interest of Sunderland and was rumoured to have been seen at the airport.
We expect this deal to be completed after Everton lost out on most of our main targets such as Andriy Yarmolenko and Jakub Błaszczykowski.
