According to an emerging report from Norwegian news outlet Varden this evening, Everton have entered talks regarding a move for Odds BK attacker Rafik Zekhnini.
The report states that Everton have had an offer for the starlet launched but it does not yet specify just how much The Toffees have bid for the youngster.
However, it does state that the 18-year-old striker is in talks with Ronald Koeman’s side ahead of a potential move to Goodison Park in the near future.
The Norway under-21 international has earned many plaudits in recent times, catching the eye in the Norwegian league for his side, consequently attracting plenty of interest from clubs across Europe.
Given Zekhnini’s clear youth and inexperience at the top level, the prospect of signing the youngster is clearly one for the future, however, he’s certainly got the potential to become a vital cog in the Everton side if he does sign and continue his development with the club.
