Memphis Depay is reportedly keen on remaining in the Premier League for the future, amid interest from Everton.
The Liverpool Echo have reported that the Manchester United winger is hoping that he can stay put in the English top flight for the remainder of the season, with a move to Goodison Park seemingly in favour.
The report claims that both Depay and manager Ronald Koeman would like a deal to go through during the January transfer window, but both feel the ideal move would be for the Netherlands international to join Everton on a permanent deal.
It could hinge on whether Everton can agree a deal with Manchester United, with the Red Devils thought to be wanting to make back the majority of Depay’s original £25million transfer.

Things just haven’t gone Depay’s way since his arrival at Manchester United since a big money move from PSV, with both Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho failing to get the best out of him so far.
Depay has an undoubted amount of ability but he needs to show it at a top level, and he’ll hope that he can get back into the swing of things with Everton if a move does arise.
