Koeman rules out Joe Hart move

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has ruled out a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

It was thought that Everton were attempting to seal a deal for the England international but were struggling to agree a loan deal due to Hart’s massive £120,000 a week wages.

Joe Hart acknowledged after yesterday’s game against Steaua București that there was in fact a ‘situation’ on going and the Toffees looked to be his most likely destination.

After Koeman’s empahtic answer to questions about Joe, it now looks likely that the Dutchman will remain with Maarten Stekelenburg and Joel Robles at least until the January transfer window. The Blues were thought to be interested in Salvatore Sirigu but nothing has yet come to the forefront.

Koeman has previously stated that he wants to sign several players before the window closes, though he now believes that the club can land only one or two more signings. The club were thought to be close to signing Lucas Perez from Deportivo but interest from Arsenal has seen a potential deal stall.
