Everton could finalise a deal for Partick Thistle defender Jack Hendry today, according to HITC Sports.
According to the report Everton have been tracking the young defender for a number of weeks now and that scouts have returned with rave reviews about the Scotsman. Wigan are also interested in the Partick starlet but it seems that Everton are in pole position for the youngster.
After making his debut last season, the centre back has made four appearances so far this term and it is not understood how much this deal would cost the Blues. It is reported that Partick Thistle will not stand in the way of the defender should he want to move to the Premier League.
Everton have already signed young Argentinian centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori from River plate in a £9.4m deal, and this would probably see Hendry play most of his games in the U21 squad.
