Everton have taken to social media to share viral footage of Moise Kean’s match-winning goal against Mexican side Pumas in pre-season.
Having already won the Florida Cup against Colombian side Millonarios on penalties, the Toffees made it two wins in two in the United States with a composed 1-0 win over the Mexican side.
On the 20-minute mark, new signing Demarai Gray broke from his midfielder markers to spray a loose ball through the Pumas back line, prompting the former PSG loanee to sprint through and shimmy his way into a one-versus-one situation.

The Italian youngster’s initial strike was saved and was fired straight at the Pumas ‘keeper, but a spilt ball enabled Kean to instinctively punce into an open net.
Everton commendably controlled the game and fought hard to keep a clean sheet, wrapping up their win in the process.
Kean has been linked with a move away from Everton amid recurring interest from Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG side, who remain keen on extending Kean’s stay in the French capital following a productive spell last season.
However, previous interest looks to have been quashed by the arrival of new boss Rafa Benitez who reportedly views Kean as a part of his plans for next season.

His starring role in Everton’s pre=season win will convince doubters that he is ready for a rejuvenation under Benitez.
With the manager seemingly unwilling to sanction his departure, rehabilitating Kean as a viable striker to challenge Dominic Calvert-Lewin appears to be a key task for Rafa Benitez.
Kean has started as he means to go on and will be looking to build on his impressive poacher’s goal in the future.
