We all found out the team a day early again (Which should probably be addressed) and we weren’t at all shocked. No sign of players such as Klaassen, Tosun or Holgate and more starts for the ever-embarrassing Martina and Keane. Granted, Martina was excellent today, but it’s still largely uninspiring. The first half was a […]
A considerable positive about this game is that it’s one game closer to the end of the season and the departure of Sam Allardyce. That’s about it really. It’s Roy Hodgson versus Bombastic Samuel in a cold February at Goodison. There are very, very few things to look forward to in this one besides the […]
Authors Note: *THIS WILL NOT BE PROFESSIONAL, IN ANY WAY*. As of right now, starting this, it’s 2-0 to Arsenal. I thought I might as well start the intro because what I’m saying now will echo just as well at the end of the game. 3-0 now, 18 minutes gone. But anyway, Allardyce needs to […]
A good result midweek needs to lead to another at Arsenal if Everton are to still have any European ambitions. We don’t do well against these teams, there’s no doubt about that, and this game might as well be a write-off to fans, but the important thing is that it isn’t to the players. We […]
A/N: Before we start, I want to say that the decision made to send Lookman out on loan is up there with the worst decisions I’ve seen this football club make. I would go into more detail but; 1. I want to keep the intro concise and 2. I want to keep the intro PG. Enough with the […]
The season is well and truly dead. We’re a broken club that needs scrapping from the ground up and started all over again. With that comes a new manager, new scouting system, a new squad and an ending to the Director of Football model. I think that much is obvious to all of us that […]
I said at the time when Allardyce was appointed that I’d much rather have given it to Unsworth and I fully stand by that opinion. Allardyce and his brand of football are toxic and they need to be rid of as soon as possible, if that comes tomorrow or Summer I don’t really care. And […]
We’re not in a good way and two signings aren’t going to turn that around. They can start to steer us away from murky waters, however. Walcott and Tosun have came in to captain the sinking ship and they’ve got a job on their hands if they want to make this season anything more than […]
The performance today was much better, and although it again resulted in nothing, it was certainly an improvement on some of the drivel Allardyce has been serving up lately, so at least we have that. It was the debut of Cenk Tosun, who certainly made a big impression. Not with a goal but by making […]
It’s been a January of prospective change so far, with much talk being about not whether there will be players leaving, but when and to whom. And, you know, the occasional talk about voodoo, pilgrimages in Africa, Ross Barkley sulking because his mate left and owning the city by August. All in a week’s work […]
A result for Liverpool was never in doubt as it now reaches 16 Merseyside Derbies without a win. It was the first derby I’ve watched in a while, and it’s always been any other game to me. We’re a bottom half at best team playing one of the best teams in the country. The football […]
I look at the picture above and I just remember being happier about Everton. I was about 10 going on 11 and I never really had any social media presence or interaction with Everton fans outside of Year 6 and 7. I was proper positive about the Blues and Moyes was just starting to play […]
