Everton fans don’t want the club to sign Sidibe permanently

Several Everton fans have slammed Djibril Sidibe following his performance against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Frenchman was caught out on a number of occasions against the Gunners, and many have seemingly had enough of his defensive inconsistencies.

The Toffees signed the World Cup winning full-back from Monaco on a season-long loan in the summer, with the club possessing an option set at around £12.7million to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

While Sidibe has demonstrated keen offensive prowess this season, assisting on four occasions in 19 Premier League appearances, his defensive frailties have too often been revealed, as far as some supporters are concerned.

With Seamus Coleman still under contract and with Jonjoe Kenny set to return to Goodison Park from his season-long loan with Bundesliga outfit Schalke in the summer, Everton have decisions to make as they prepare ahead of next season.

Taking to social media after the Arsenal game, it is clear to see what these Everton fans think of the club’s decision over whether to sign Sidibe permanently on not.
