If you’re expecting positivity just leave. We lost again. It’s not going to get better until Summer. Keep playing like this, and we get relegated. Simple. We’re going to lose our next two games, Arsenal will turn us over and I don’t need to tell you about Liverpool. Leicester are struggling, but I highly doubt we’ll […]
A/N: Just going to use the Holgate picture until he starts. We should have beaten United. They were a poor team, with little direction and little star quality. Gueye ran the show, but unfortunately, the rest of the team forgot their lines. There was absolutely no quality in our team. No directness, no sharpness, no […]
And breathe…A point is so much sweeter when you don’t deserve it, isn’t it? We started the game very well, with a flurry of crosses coming in from either side, sweeping over De Gea’s net. This continued for a while until United got a grasp of the game and choked the life out of it. […]
A/N: I feel like I’ve used that Holgate picture a ton, but it’s boss so I’ll carry on. Right, recently, I’ve been doing a few polls on Twitter about the state of the first team, and what needs to be done. There have been interesting responses, and I’ll address them in the coming slides. The […]
Something different this time around. It’s getting dull, predicting Ronald Koeman’s 11 when we know it’ll be the same 13 or 14 players in the squad. It’s harking back to Martinez’ Favourites, and I’m getting bored of that. So, it’s time to scrap this recycling process of has-been’s, wont-be’s and are-not’s. Well, for the most […]
We’re fully back into Martinez’ ways of being immune to defeat. But they all still sting, don’t they? We started off terribly, as per usual, and Charlie Austin scored in the opening seconds of the game. Nothing much else happened for the rest of the game besides Southampton mulling over whether they wanted to slaughter […]
It feels like I’ve been starting off recently with a lot of ”So, last week was bad, onwards to this week”. It’s getting rather repetitive, and annoying, to be honest. So, last week was bad, onwards to this week. We’re off down to the south coast, former residence of Ronald Koeman, Southampton. They’ve followed us down […]
Ashley Williams, quoted by the Express, has admitted that Crisis talks will be held this week to address the horrible blip in form since the loss to Norwich in the EFL cup. Williams said “It’s frustrating for all of us” after another 2 points were dropped against struggling Swansea. Williams also added that the apparent inconsistency […]
Not sure what to feel after that. The last five minutes were absolute chaos after 85 minutes of absolute shambles. Coleman netted the equaliser but before you could retake your seat, Bolasie was rattling one into Fabianski. And then rattling the corner flag with a wildly wayward shot. But it’s still not great, is it? […]
Another International Break comes and goes, with much being discussed on the homefront. Koeman’s made everyone narky, Depay’s signed for Everton and Rooney hasn’t. All in a week’s work. Now the weekend’s work, Swansea. They’re in a bit of a crisis too, as confirmed by Ki Sueng Yueng, so you can’t say I’m being harsh. Coach […]
Wayne Rooney, rather unceremoniously, left Everton in 2004 after bursting onto the scene and spent only two full seasons at the club. I don’t think anyone ever really accepted it fully, and the idea of Rooney ‘coming home’ has been prevalent ever since. I’ll weigh up the positives, negatives, and all that romanticism around him returning. […]
You’ve voted for your best player in every position, so it’s time to vote for the best player. With tremendous class in every position, the Everton squad is scattered with talent, but just who wins outright against fellow squadmates? Do you value defensive solidity in Ashley Williams or considerable class in club legend, Leighton Baines? Or do you […]
